— m o o n / s t o n e —
✨ moon/stone ✨ is an interdisciplinary art project combining songs and paintings — 13 of each — giving viewers a chance to experience the same inspiration in two different ways. The project brings Tateo’s practices as a musician and visual artist together, pairing the songs of moon/stone with a corresponding body of paintings. Rather than simply illustrating the music, the paintings offer another way to enter the album's emotional world—one that can be seen, heard, and experienced.
It is about embracing big feelings, remembering forgotten dreams, and finding hope through it all. moon/stone explores the contrasts that shape our lives and the ways those experiences can ultimately redirect us toward joy and love.

“moon/stone” will be on view for a one-night-only event on November 6 from 6-8:30 pm in the Black Box Theater at the Arts Center of the Capital Region

Schedule of events ~
6-7:00 pm ~ art show and reception ~ During this time, you'll be able to experience the paintings and songs.
Bring a pair of headphones in order to listen to the paintings.
7-8:00 pm ~ live show ~ Around 7 pm, we will shift the vibe, and you'll get to experience the whole album as we perform it live.
A limited number of vinyl records will be available that evening, pressed locally by Burlington Record Pressing.

About the music ~
Sparkle Garden is the name of the accidental band that was created because of the brilliant collaborators who helped add their genius to this project. I've always likened my friends to a garden, but having them help bring my music to life like this was like the prettiest blooms, hence becoming the "Sparkle Garden". Thank you to everyone who contributed to the record and to those performing the night of the show (noted with asterisks).
