Performance Art

—  P e r o r m a n c e a r t —

What Blooms in Moonlight? is a live performance painting and sound-immersive event that explores ephemeral and impermanence and invites presence through this.

Through spontaneous mark-making, music, and shared time, the performance becomes a meditation on the unfolding moment.

This is a short video of many snippets stitched together from the What blooms in moonlight event at The Studio in Troy in December 2023.
I was so honored to collaborate with Connor Armbruster (electric violin) and Sam Torres (saxophone and electronics).

The footage is blurry, but I wanted to capture the moment. xo~

This project was made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by The Arts Center of the Capital Region.
